Shen Nong Scholarship and Research Fund <\/b><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Shen Nong Scholarship and Research Fund <\/span><\/i>was established by the <\/span>Wellspring Foundation<\/span><\/i> to encourage and support the scholarship and research of students of Traditional Chinese Medicine at recognized colleges and universities across Canada and, in particular, at Kwantlen Polytechnic University at its sites in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, British Columbia. The <\/span>Fund<\/span><\/i> is also intended to enable students, scholars and practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine to contribute to the community through scholarship and research. <\/span><\/p>\n

Professionals have a responsibility to enable the development of the next generations of  students in their fields and to contribute to the ongoing development of research informed knowledge. The singular purpose of the <\/span>Shen Nong Scholarship and Research Fund <\/span><\/i>is to advance scholarship and the practice of research conducted by students, scholars and practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada. The <\/span>Fund <\/span><\/i>does so through the support of activities that are consistent with the ethical standards and philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. <\/span><\/p>\n

The initial priority of the<\/span> Shen Nong Scholarship and Research Fund <\/span><\/i>is to support the studies of worthy applicants who are presently engaged in the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Criteria for Eligibility<\/u><\/p>

Applicants must currently be attending\u00a0a Canadian accredited University <\/span>as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine according to the provincial regulations of the Canadian province in which they are studying.<\/p>

Applications must be submitted by August 31st, 2025 and awards will be announced by September 15th, 2025<\/p>

The maximum award is $3000 per annum and the funds must be used expressly in support of the applicant\u2019s continuing studies.<\/p>

Up to six (6) awards will be granted to qualified students.<\/p>
